Come join like-minded neighbors from across the Valley at the May Day Festival, the fifth annual fun free celebration of labor, climate justice, human rights, social justice, and the honoring of Beltane.

We’ll have music, maypole dancing, arts and crafts for young and old, workshops, demonstrations, speakers, and other merriments.

We are excited to announce the Earth Day Festival 2025 happening on Saturday, April 26th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at LindenPointe in Hermitage. This family-friendly event will be a day full of education, fun, and sustainability.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Shenango River Watchers Cleanup: Help us kick off the event by participating in a community cleanup. More details will be shared soon.

• Live Music: Enjoy performances from local musicians throughout the day.

• Outdoor Vendor Marketplace: Shop eco-friendly products from vendors committed to sustainability.

• Food Trucks & Beverage Vendors: Savor delicious food and drinks from a selection of local food trucks and beverage vendors.

• Workshops: Participate in workshops for both kids and adults focused on sustainability and green living.

• Shuttle Service: Free shuttle service will be available between LindenPointe and the Hermitage Food to Waste Energy Plant. Take a tour to see how our city is converting food waste to energy.

Fat Hippy Records is also proud to announce… Youngstown Psych & Hard Rock legends POOBAH will be performing from 3-6! The band will also offer a wide variety of merch!

Penguin City Brewing, 460 E. Federal St., downtown, will present Thirsty Thursday Karaoke from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. every Thursday with DJ Spruce. Each event will include specials and a theme. Admission is free.

Participants must be at least 18 years old.
